INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a male was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday morning on Indy’s near north side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 12:30 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of East 38th Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located the male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
No suspect information was released.
